About
My name is Brendan O'Connor. I'm from Montana originally, but now seem to split my time between Baltimore, where I am a Master's candidate in Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University, and the West Coast. I am currently finishing an internship, and looking for full-time employment once I graduate; please feel free to examine my resume. Naturally, all my opinions are my own, and not the opinions of my university, my employer, people from Montana, or anybody else. (They are all free to agree with me, however.)
I seem to spend most of my time thinking/worrying about issues of identity-- mine, yours, everybody's. That's fine by me; it's a fun area in which to do research, work, and from time to time, even blog. The rest of my blogs are about my odd sort of life, so this blog switches between personal and technical on a somewhat haphazard basis.
If you're interested in communicating with me, feel free to do so by writing to blog [some symbol] ussjoin [a different symbol] com.
If you're interested in seeing my resume and any associated things I've posted on the front page of my website, consult it here. (It's an Action Stream, so be prepared to see everything I do on the Web.)
